Summary of Role: The Supply Chain Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring Multi-Ply Components has the right materials, consumables and components available at the right time to support customer demand and production requirements.

Working across purchasing, stock control, suppliers and internal departments, the role will take day-to-day ownership of raw material and consumable availability, purchasing, stock accuracy, inventory monitoring, supplier performance and supply chain reporting.

This is an important role within a growing carbon fibre manufacturing environment, where material availability, lead times, quality and cost can have a direct impact on production and customer delivery.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

Essential

  • Previous experience in purchasing, buying, supply chain, procurement, stock control or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organisational and administration skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good numerical and analytical ability.
  • Experience managing purchase orders and suppliers.
  • Experience monitoring stock and inventory.
  • Confident using Office 365 apps
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of cost, lead time and stock implications.
  • Ability to work effectively with production and operational teams.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment.
