Technical Director Lucas Morgan at the Medical AM Conference

The Medical Advanced Materials Conference (Medical AM) will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of February 2022 at the Edgbaston Park Conference Centre in Birmingham. The event which will give participants the opportunity to learn about the latest innovations and advancements within the Medical and Healthcare sectors.

Our Technical Director Lucas Morgan will be speaking specifically on “material and manufacturing considerations for medical imaging components”. There will be a broad range of specialists speaking at the event (who you can read more about here), on a range of specialist topics that also cover the impact of 3D printing in the industry and supply chain challenges. Lucas will share his expertise on the multi-functional elements of carbon fibre for medical including mechanical, weight benefits and radiolucency for x-ray.

Manufacturing techniques for carbon fibre is an area Lucas also brings specialist insight too, backed by the product development break-throughs Multi-Ply has made for many clients in this last year alone.
