Laminating Technician

Position: Laminating Technician
Type: Permanent
Salary: Minimum £9 per hour
Hours: Full time

The ideal candidate:
Dexterous with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Keen to learn new skills
Able to follow verbal and written instructions
A team player who is helpful, flexible and cooperative, and
Has their own transport (due to rural location)

Key Duties:
Lay-up carbon fibre onto various tools following specific work instructions (training provided)
Use hand tools such as scissors and a Stanley knife
Prepare components for the autoclave, using bagging and vacuuming practices
Inspection of components before they leave the laminating department, ready for the next stage in the manufacturing process
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
