Multi-ply Components Ltd is a world leader in the design and manufacture of composite components for the Medical industry. Established for over 30 years, our products are exported all over the world. We now have an excellent opportunity for a full time 5 Axis CNC Setter/Operator.
Key duties:
• Operating 5 axis CNC machines. Setting fixtures and inserting the correct tooling.
• Editing the CNC machines with data taken from technical drawings
• Checking work meets quality and technical standards
• Following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure components are manufactured correctly
• Maintaining equipment
The role will ideally suit someone:
• With prior CNC experience
• With experience of using CAD software
• Able to interpret technical drawings
• With experience of Siemens 840D & 0SAI controls (desirable)
• With experience of using inspection equipment
• Used to working to fine tolerances where surface finish and part quality are paramount
• With good communication skills, able to work with and interact with the team
• Able to edit, set and operate different machine tools
• With strong IT Skills (windows)
• Holds a full driving licence as public transport is very limited
