HR Supports

Meet Emma! Emma’s role as HR Advisor is fast-paced and often requires rapid responses to what’s happening in the business. Emma gets involved in a wide variety of activities, from administrative excellence to ensuring policies and procedures are followed correctly. In addition, Emma gets to support activities such as careers fairs, where we encourage young people to explore careers, especially into STEM.
Emma also builds strong networks with HR professionals across different sectors and stays up to date with legislation. This is done by attending HR Employment Law updates and networking with like-minded professionals.
Another popular area Emma is focused on is wellbeing for our employees, which is a key driver in engagement for many organisations.
Emma plays a key role in ensuring that our managers are confident and familiar with the systems and procedures in place. This means spending time with managers to support them so that they can in turn support their teams effectively, stay compliant with policies and share best practices with one another.
Emma has shared one of her latest achievements, stating “I have recently completed my CIPD Level 5 in People Management with Blackpool and Fylde College. This has equipped me with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills in HR practices, supporting more strategic thinking and decision-making. It has deepened my understanding of core people management principles, from employment law to organisational development, and strengthened my ability to align HR initiatives with wider business goals.”
In Emma’s spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring her creativity through designing greeting cards for various occasions and unwinding with a good book.
Emma’s proactive approach, supportive nature, and deep knowledge make her an invaluable part of the team, always going the extra mile and driving positive change across the business.
